What is Magnocall?
You can use Magnocall to make free video calls live from your computer. You can make pure audio calls or use the video component to see each other. It’s 100% browser-based and works on the latest versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
By the way, we are working on providing Magnocall on smartphones and tablets soon. That will mean you can make video calls from phone to computer, or computer to tablet, etc. Stay tuned!
Why Magnocall?
Because there are no downloads!! Magnocall is 100% browser-based without any software downloads or plugins required. Just log in to your account and start a call with one mouse click only. We achieved this easy-to-use way of making video calls using WebRTC.
We have also created a nifty feature called the “Call-Me link“. This is a personal and unique web URL (think of it as a “personal video room“) for making video calls. Send your link to anyone and they can click on it to instantly join you in a free video call – and they don’t need a Magnocall account to join the call. Getting Started
Firstly, you will need to use either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for Magnocall. Open your Chrome or Firefox browser, go to magnocall.com, and log in. You can either create your own Magnocall account or sign in with your Facebook account.
Once logged in, add your first contact and call them right away. It’s amazingly simple. And by the way, don’t forget to allow Magnocall to use your mic and webcam 🙂 You’ll see the prompt. See you in Magnocall!
