Participants can join sessions from your website

Earlier this year we released a series of Join Mikogo buttons for you to embed in your website. Since the look of Mikogo changed a bit, we bring you a fresh, new bunch of buttons! As before, you are welcome to help yourself to these buttons to add to your website, and allow your session participants to join from your website.

Placing a Button on your website:
You can easily place a button on your site by copying and pasting the appropriate block of HTML code into your website. The button that you chose will appear on your site, and when a participant clicks on it they will have the possibility to join your session from your website rather than visiting the Mikogo homepage.

The first button will link to http://join.mikogo.com which is available for both PC and Mac users joining a Mikogo session. You can test it for yourself by simply clicking on the example button below.

The next two buttons are a little different to the above button, but more in line to what you would be used to from the buttons that we released earlier this year. Instead of linking to the Join Session webpage, the buttons below link to the Mikogo software. There are two buttons – one for Mac participants and one for Windows participants.

Please feel free to take your buttons of choice and place them on your website.

We are definitely interested in hearing your feedback on the buttons. Check them out, and please leave a comment on which buttons you prefer.
And if you add one or more of the buttons to your website, feel free to share the new addition to your website by leaving a link in a comment below so we can check it out and see which buttons are the most popular. This will be nice to see and gives us an impression of which buttons are liked more than others.

Looking for something else? For example, if you use Mikogo solely for remote support, then you may only want the words “Remote Support” on a button. Let us know what type of button you’re after by leaving a comment below.

The Challenge

Bolero Innovations Inc. provides a wide range of web design services and needs to regularly organize client demos in addition to training sessions for both employees and clients. Remote Control now available for Mac Beta version

Good news – today we have released the remote control feature for Mac users! This allows you to start a meeting from a Mac or PC, and then assist others via remote support, regardless of whether they join your meeting from a Mac or PC. Now you can use Mikogo as a cross-platform tool for not only web conferences and online meetings but also remote support, and you won’t pay a cent.

Mikogo Releases Cross-Platform Remote Support Software

Mannheim, GERMANY April 15, 2009 – Mikogo has announced the release of the new remote control feature for its Mac Beta version, equipping the free cross-platform web conference software with a valuable remote support function. The news comes shortly after the successful release of Mikogo’s first Mac Beta version a month ago, and complements Mikogo’s version for PC computers.

Both Mikogo’s PC and Mac versions provide an easy-to-use web conferencing solution that allows any private user or company to organize an online meeting with up to 10 participants. Let Participants Join from your Website: New Buttons for Windows and Mac Participants

Last month we released several Join Meeting buttons for you to place on your blog or website, and allow your participants to join your meetings directly from your website. This was before the release of the Mac Beta version. Consequently we have made new buttons that you may place on your website for Mac participants to join your meetings without having to visit the Mikogo homepage.

We have also made a couple of new buttons for Windows participants. There are several buttons for Windows and Mac participants available below. We have provided the HTML code below each button.

Placing a Button on your website:
To place a button on your site, copy and paste the appropriate block of HTML code into your website. The button that you have chosen will appear on your site, and when a participant clicks on it they will open the Mikogo software for participants.
If you place a Windows button, they will open the Mikogo.exe file for Windows participants. If you place a button for Mac users on your site, when they click on it they will open the Mikogo.dmg for Mac participants.

To test out the buttons, feel free to click on any of the buttons below and you will see that the appropriate Mikogo participant software will open for either Windows or Mac computers, depending on which button you click on.

Please feel free to take your buttons of choice and place them on your website.
