Questions & Answers
Below we explain the free trial, what is included, and the different offers which are available with Mikogo.
What do I get with a free trial?
If you’re looking to test all the included Mikogo software features, then the best place to start is with a free trial. It’s just 3 steps:
- Sign up for a free trial
- Download the software
- Enter your account details
You can then start an unlimited number of free sessions for 14 days with all professional version features included.
Which features do I get when I register for an account/free trial?
All of them. Really.
And unlimited use of the software for the 14-day period – as many meetings as you wish!
The trial is non-binding, no credit card required, and it only takes a minute to register. And then you can use all the Mikogo features!
What do I get without registering?
Less features.
Specifically, you will miss out on:
- Scheduler
- Profile Manager
- Multi-User Whiteboard
- Application Selection
- Recording
- URL Push and
- MyAccount.
Of course, it is possible to simply download the software and start desktop sharing sessions without registering for an account or a free trial. On the other hand, if you want to receive all the Pro Version features, please sign up for a free 14-day trial.
What happens after the free trial period?
After you have used your free trial for 14 days you will still be able to use your free registered account. However certain features are not available to free users after the trial has expired. These features include the scheduler, profile manager, whiteboard, recording, and URL push.
After the trial has expired, if you wish to continue using Mikogo for commercial use and you would like to gain all the Pro Version features, please purchase a Mikogo business license.
Do I need a Pro Version license?
The Mikogo software can be used for free by private users for non-commercial and personal use. If you wish to use Mikogo for your business and for commercial purposes, we kindly ask that you purchase a business license.
In other words, if you intend to use Mikogo for desktop sharing sessions with clients, colleagues, etc. as part of your business operations, you will need a Mikogo business license.
On the other hand, if you use Mikogo simply for private use, such as desktop sharing with friends or assisting family via remote support, then you are welcome to use the free version of Mikogo. Private users can benefit from further features by registering for an account/free trial.
