Using Version 4 to Instantly View and Control a Remote Computer
Today we implemented a change in Version 4 to facilitate remote support sessions, in particular for cases when you want to start a session and directly view and control the remote computer, instead of first presenting your own screen.
This feature has always been available in Version 4, however previously you needed to configure this in the Profile Manager. Now when you open your Mikogo software you can select to view and control the remote computer without using the Profile Manager.

Upgrade Notification For Version 3 Users
For those of you who have still been using Version 3 since we released Version 4 last week, you may have noticed that there hasn’t yet been a forced upgrade. This was because we wanted to notify everyone first in order to give notice and allow for you to prepare for Version 4.
Today we initiated the update process within Mikogo Version 3. As a session organizer, the next time you run the Mikogo Version 3 software, you will receive an update notification. Read on for more details.

Mikogo Version 4 is Officially Here!
After a successful beta stage (to those who volunteered as beta testers – thanks!), we have officially launched Version 4. For those of you who have not tried Version 4 yet, when you update to the new software you will see a new-look user interface, a range of additional features, and it is available on three computer platforms: Windows, Mac and Linux – this means you can start a session from either one of these platforms and have participants join from the same or one of the other platforms.
