Mikogo Mac Version to be released: Beta Testers?
We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing a native Mac client of the Mikogo software. This will be an exciting release as it means that Mikogo will be cross platform allowing Mac users to organize, present and participate in Mikogo free online meetings. But before we officially release the Mac version, we are calling out to the Mikogo Community and to the Mac Community for some beta testers.
The beta version will be made available shortly in a closed beta test and will be cross platform, so that Mac users can start meetings, and invite both Mac and PC users to participate. Vice versa, PC users will be able to start meetings (as they do now) and then invite both Mac and PC users to participate.
Are you a Mac user who is interested in taking part in the beta testing? If so please take a look at this new blog post for further details: Mikogo Mac Beta Version Available Here
Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you!

@ Carmelo, a meeting is started by clicking the m icon at the top of the screen (not in the Dock). Please take a look at this blog post which will give you details on starting a meeting along with screenshots.

I checked out the latest version 2.0.3.090226 on a MacBook 2.2GHz (Mac OS 10.5.6) and I am very impressed about the stability and performance of the tool. I have used it for quite a while with a WinXP OS on the remote side.
Only thing I am missing so far is the remote control feature.
Best Regards,
Otto
I’ve just discovered Mikogo, and it looks like a great start — but you really need to integrate audio. What good is showing my screen to others if we can’t discuss it? And on the Mac, you’re competing with Screen Sharing, which allows exactly that (though with only one remote user).
I understand I could somehow use it in conjunction with Skype, but I (and everybody I might want to use this with) don’t want to set up Skype — we want screen-sharing software we can just launch and use.

Hi, I’m using a macbook pro 2.2Gh intel core duo 2.
This looks very promising, however, I miss the audio (like in Marratech).
In the user account side, I haven’t been able to find how to change the password. I don’t want to keep a password which has been sent over the mail.
I’ll try it more fully later, once I get some volunteers to test it with me
Good work and thanks!!
@ Patricio At present there isn’t an option to choose a custom password. However when you enter your user details for the first time and start a meeting, they will remain there the next time you start a meeting so you don’t have to re-enter them every time. But we will later provide a way for users to change passwords
