I have been using Mikogo for over one year to teach EFL and cross cultural communication to coach my international students for job opportunities and college admissions interviews in the United States. With Mikog we don't have to skip a beat in the rhythm of language learning. Since not all of my students are "techies", Mikogo has been the best platform for us, as it is intuitive and does not interfere with the goals of our sessions.
The economy has affected many language teachers. People don't feel they have the money to travel to learn a language, so they either choose to postpone it, or try their best to find quality EFL in their homeland. My business has actually increased as my former students and those they recommend can have the same quality EFL tutoring and classroom experience at their convenience. The overall cost is so much less than travelling. And, when my students are ready for a trip to the US, I meet them in their favorite city, make affordable accommodation arrangements, and build English language support into their vacation or business travel. We don't have to miss a class.
