I would really like to be able to pin a meeting number to my Mikogo, set it to auto load on start up and give the number to my remote support engineer so he can re-start and come bak in for remoted control without me being physically present.

Are there any mikogo conference call numbers available for Hong Kong and Denmark?

The Mikogo Conference Call Service is active and can be accessed by opening your Mikogo Scheduler, and then adding a new meeting or editing an existing meeting.
A window will appear and under “Meeting Password” you will see “Include Conference Call Service” with a tick-box, as you can see here: http://www.mikogo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/scheduler3.jpg
When you select “Use Mikogo Conference Call Service” this will include our provided numbers for your meeting.
However, if you select “Use Own Conference Call Service”, this will allow you to edit the small box below. Take a look at this screenshot: http://www.mikogo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/scheduler4.jpg You can then delete the Mikogo numbers already provided and add your own chosen numbers for your meeting. Then when you email invitations to your participants, they will have all the instructions they need to join the conference call.
When you click on “Email invitation” the predefined email will appear for you to send to your participants, and will include your selected Conference Call information: (http://www.mikogo.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/scheduler5.jpg)

I downloaded the new version and I see “use Mikogo conference calling feature” under scheduler but the feature doesn’t work and no information about the call in number pops up? Anybody know what’s going on? Perhaps it’s bot active yet?

We are working on a getting a Mac client for Mikogo, but for now the next release will include the new features listed above.

@ Arnel and Rowan
No exact date at the moment. The new version is currently being beta tested by several software and tech bloggers. Once we hear back from them, we will take a look at their feedback to see if anything needs to be done and then we can release the new version.

Thanks, appreciate that. Currently you cannot invite 30 users to a Mikogo meeting. Thank you for your comment about a pay per use concept – it’s great to get feedback directly from the users. Perhaps something for the future.

yeah, that’s right. The big colored cursor allows participants to point things out on the presenter’s screen. With the new Mikogo version you’ll be able to draw on your screen using the whiteboard tool.

Are you looking for the Mikogo Firefox add-on? You can download that from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6779 You’ll then receive an M icon in your browser which allows you to start or join a Mikogo meeting using your Mikogo account. If you’re having problems getting the M icon to show in your browser, take a look at this forum post: http://forum.mikogo.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=74
